1:1 Coaching and Support

College Planning Sessions
Initial intake meeting  + 3 sessions (additional sessions can be added): $500

These sessions meet students wherever they are-- from the application/admission process to pre-matriculation academic and career planning. Sessions are tailored to each student. An outline of learning outcomes/activities is determined after the initial intake meeting. Our curriculum focuses on two core areas of development.

  • Pragmatic Exploration:

    • Find a campus that fits you

    • Identify education programs that align with your goals

    • Unpack requirements and learn how to explore strategically

    • Plan your first-year experience (academics and co-curricular)

    • Map out experiential goals (study abroad, internships, research)

  • Self-Discovery:

    • Identify personal interests, strengths, and values, and relate them to your goals

    • Brainstorm topics for personal statements (initial support, see below for statement-specific programs)

    • Consider the dimensions of your wellness and the resources/supports campuses offer

    • Engage in practical and developmentally appropriate career exploration

Note:

College planning sessions can provide foundational support for students writing personal statements. As part of the college planning session package, students receive access to additional self-guided personal statement resources/activities/tools. Students seeking additional support can add sessions to their college planning package or sign up for the complete personal statement workshop package (below).

Personal Statement Workshops

  • Discuss the student's college/academic goals and what makes a strong personal statement

We can’t thank you enough for the fantastic help.  You gave her the confidence to dive into the application process and it’s already producing results.  The guidance around navigating the first year of college has been incredibly helpful to her as well.  Thanks so much!
